My Story

After a severe Horseback Riding accident in 2006, I herniated my Lumbar Disc L3/L4 and fractured my sacrum, and thus suffered from low back and hip pain as well as pain radiating down my leg. I found it difficult to roll over. I chose not to go the typical Physical Therapy route,* but chose nutrition, Pilates, The Arvigo Technique Maya Massage, and MyoFascial Release therapeutic technique for my recovery path. After four weeks my Orthopedist was AMAZED at my progress.

(*As I am not a medical doctor nor do I give medical advice, I recommend all my clients seek Physical Therapy post surgery or injury).

On another note, I also suffered from some fertility issues all my life (the doctors had told me for over 20 years that I would need fertility drugs when I wanted to have a family,) but through the work of The Arvigo Technique that changed within a couple of months and I became pregnant with our son Ethan. I kept up with my Abdominal Massage work and had the kind of pregnancy women envy.  I was also listed as “HIGH RISK” because of my age, but had zero problems.

My experiences and training have been a gift I feel honored to share with as many people as want to experience it.  My training and experiences offer me the ability to enhance your use of your body and reinstate function where it has been lost without drugs or surgery.
